The Guadalupana Society is a group of dedicated women and men. We are committed to place God first in our lives. We honor our Blessed Mother, La Virgen de Guadalupe.
The Society at Sacred Heart was organized on August 12, 1942. We meet every 4th Tuesday of the month except for December and June.
We support many local organizations within our Church, Sacred Heart School and community. Every year on Mother's Day we get together with the Catholic Daughters and distribute flowers after every Mass to each mother.
Our biggest highlight of the year is the month of December. We start on December 3-12 by praying daily a Novena and Holy Rosary. On the 12th of December, we start the morning off by singing the Mananitas to the Virgen at 6:15-6:45am followed by the Novena. In the evening we have a procession from the Courthouse to the Church followed by a Mass. Afterwards everyone is invited to the Parish Hall for fellowship.
